Privacy Policy

Flavor News respects reader privacy. This policy explains the kinds of information a news website may collect and how that information may be used to operate, protect, and improve the site.

Information we may collect

When visitors browse the site, standard technical information may be processed, including IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, pages visited, and time of access. If a visitor submits a contact request, correction request, or comment, the information provided in that submission may also be processed.

Cookies and analytics

The site may use cookies and analytics tools to understand traffic, improve performance, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Visitors can control cookies through their browser settings.

Embedded content and third-party services

Articles may include embedded content, links, images, videos, or references from third-party websites. Those third-party services may collect data according to their own privacy policies.

How information is used

Information may be used to operate the site, respond to reader inquiries, investigate corrections, secure the website, measure performance, and improve editorial presentation.

Data retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for editorial, legal, operational, security, or administrative purposes.

Contact

Privacy questions should be sent through the official contact channel configured for this site.

Investor Brief waitlist

If you join the Investor Brief waitlist, Flavor News stores your normalized email address, consent timestamp, source page, a short browser/user-agent summary and a hashed IP address for abuse prevention. Raw IP addresses are not stored. The waitlist is used to measure interest in a future briefing product; no Investor Brief emails are sent in this version.

Future email delivery will require a separate provider, unsubscribe support and any required compliance details before sending begins.
